Google Presents Animated Homepage in Korea
Google Korea had relaunched yesterday with an attractive animated homepage. The page features the classic Google look with colored dots placed under the search form entry. When these dots are hovered they change into one of Google’s major properties. With this move, Google assumes the widespread dominance of broadband and disregards those dial-up users.
This is an attempt by Google to penetrate the Korean market a bit deeper and according to Google’s Marissa Mayer, the classic look simply wasn’t hacking it in the Korean market. Mayers said “It was important where our classic minimalism wasn’t working that we adapt.”
