In an effort to be productive, even when I can’t find internet access, I’ve installed Google Gears in order to give me that extra added little boost.
So what is Gears and where can you get it to work? It’s this fantastic little plug in that Google created, which serves up offline content or provide you with content based on your geographical location. I use Gears primarily for offline use of Google docs and Google Reader (the most recent 2,000 items). Gears was designed to be used on both Google and non-Google sites. Sync Live Writer Drafts with Mesh Now

One of my all time favourite applications as a blogger is Windows Live Writer. While it’s not exactly an office suite product, it’s certainly one of my must have products. And now, something that I’ve only just learned about – Live Mesh – will take the drafts that I store on one system, and make them accessible wherever I am! This all of a sudden made my blogging life a lot easier.

Yup, Google Apps finally offers more collaboration among its users. Google Apps recently added to its online software suite the Google Apps Team Edition. More collaborative features such as:
Work on the same document together, instead of sorting out changes in attachments
Share documents and calendars securely with your co-workers with a click
Access it all from any computer, and even from mobile phones
Invite other team members to join and share with you
