Grunting Leads to Banning of Tennis Player

]]> In Australia, a 9-year-old girl has been banned for grunting while on the court. The girl, named Lauryn Edwards, was told to be quiet or she couldn’t play anymore. Reportedly, the little girl let loose a grunt and then was kicked out.

How ridiculous is this? Banning a 9-year-old for grunting while playing tennis? Isn’t that what tennis players do?

Lauryn Edwards has explained that her favorite tennis player is Maria Sharapova, who is famous for her grunts on the court. Like a lot of young people do, she imitated her idol.
