2009 is the year of Gundam. That’s why we have the life-size Gundam in Japan and lots of Gundam-related stuff this year. The new kid on the block is the Zippo Gundam lighters. Really neat design I must say.

We see the awesomess of Gundam in the anime and always dreaming of gawking at one in real life (whether it can ignite and fly doesn’t really matter). After many years, behold the 20m, 60ft super life size RX78 Gundam!!!

The current assembled RX78 Gundam stands proud and tall at Odaiba, Tokyo. Even Optimus Prime has to stand back this time.
