As reported by Bizlevity fave Sean Kelly over at FranBest, 7 Valleys Custom Blends, “the first bulk tobacco shop franchise system, will be launching its first franchise unit in the Harrisburg suburb of Camp Hill, PA in early August.”

Contrary to popular belief, the “7 Valleys” part of the name doesn’t refer to the EKGs of the shop’s customers.

New franchise owners Sean Concannon and Richard Agolia are, what you might say, hooked on the concept of bringing farm-fresh, all-natural tobacco to people who want to save 50-80% over the regular cost of pre-packaged cigarettes.

They’ve been customers of 7 Valley Custom Blends for years and knew a good thing when they saw it.

FranBest reports:

“…the do-it-yourself approach to cigarettes is made possible by using a small table-top machine that injects loose tobacco into pre-made paper tubes with filters attached. The process takes just a few seconds per cigarette and many customers roll a large supply of cigarettes at one sitting.”

Plus, the scarcity value alone of a place where no one would be whining about the dangers of second-hand smoke seems like it would attract smokers from the neighboring 23 states.

Just like at Starbucks, patrons can linger over a smoke or two while listening to compilation CDs from famous smokers like Amy Winehouse, Rod Stewart and Brownsville Station.

In a brilliant cross-promotion move, 7 Valleys Custom Blend shops will split retail space with another new franchise entry, C. Everett Koop’s Nicotine Patch Depot.
