New Maps for Halo 2

I just received an e-mail with some great news. There are two new, revamped maps available for Halo 2 on Xbox and Xbox 360.
Reincarnated as Tombstone, navigate the ancient battlegrounds of Hang ‘Em High (the Halo: Combat Evolved classic), modernized for a newly dedicated Halo militia.
Welcome to Desolation. Originally known as the death match centric Derelict, this restructured combat zone is now faster paced sporting new graphics and effects.

Could the proposed Halo movie crash into oblivion like a Covenant Wraith with a rocket up it’s rear end?
News reports state that production of the Halo movie has been halted until further notice. It seems Universal and Fox aren’t willing to pony-up the amount of money it would take to
“fulfill the promise we made to millions of Halo fans throughout the world that we would settle for no less than bringing a first class film to the big screen.”

Xbox 360 Coming to India

Microsoft will be launching the 360 in India sometime around October.
“We will be in India before our competition has launched in any other market,” he said, referring to rival video game industry leader Sony Corp.’s (6758.T) planned debut in the United States of its PS3 in November.
“It is estimated there are 1.6 million gamers in India who spend at least 2 hours playing everyday,” said Mohit Anand, country manager at Microsoft’s India entertainment and devices division.
