The plot follows a Los Angeles cop (Al Pacino) as he pursues a troubled villain (Robert De Niro).  There are so many layers to the story.  The detective has some serious problems at home.  Throw Val Kilmer into the mix as one of De Niro’s criminal partners and you’ve got some major star power on the screen.

The movie is long so if you are planning to pick up a copy, make sure you’ve set aside almost three hours.  Since the story moves along as such a riveting pace you won’t even notice.

Now on Blu-ray: “Heat”

It’s nearly forty degress celcius with the humidex and our apartment has no air conditioning. And yet, our cat (Cammy) is sleeping on the nice warm external hard drive.

Looks like E3 has melted and dribbled away like the White Witch’s winter before Aslan’s roar. Was it good for you? It was certainly…an event.
