Last week we mentioned that Victoria Beckham turned 34. We posed 10 questions, one of which involved our curiosity as to whether the erstwhile Posh Spice smiled on her birthday. To that we can’t attest one way or the other, but we can certainly see by Exhibit A here that grins still aren’t a priority for David Beckham’s bustier half, seen here shopping yesterday:

Turning 9, for this bloggerette and her friends, involved balloons, cake, presents, sometimes bowling, occasionally a swimming pool, and once, behavior so rambunctious that one of of the mom’s excluded yours truly from the invitation list the following year.
Compare that to Brooklyn Beckham, fortunate offspring of David and Victoria Beckham. He blew out candles before the likes of Heidi Klum and Eva Longoria at the chic Pink Taco in Century City, CA. (Beck himself was traveling in Asia with the L.A. Galaxy–and doing an admirable good deed: visiting young leukemia patients).

Oscar Picks: The Sports Edition

We were all caught up in Oscar fever last night, critiquing fashion choices (Heidi Klum’s red dress was da bomb) and presentations (can you believe how freakin’ jittery Katherine Heigl was? We thought it was a ruse . . . but no, she really was that nervous). Then we realized how totally overlooked the sports world by the Academy.
