Formula One and its knights in their space-age steeds will be competing in the European Grand Prix in a few days and preparations by the drivers and race teams has been progressing. The race track at Valencia has been a busy place the last few days as teams and drivers put their cars through qualifying rounds to determine pole positions for the race.

The European Grand Prix is just around the corner and after the show that Valencia put on last year with its inaugural European Grand Prix the drivers, fans and team members can’t wait to get to this Spanish city’s streets. Spain is a hot and dry environment that has its own problems for the cars, drivers and teams, but it’s still a wonderful environment in which to run a Formula One competition.

The fastest and nimblest cars in the world will take to the track in Nurburgring, Germany this weekend as the German Grand Prix will take place on a track that will be tight and challenging for the drivers. The Nurburgring circuit is one of the older tracks on the Formula One calendar, and a tricky track for the drivers, with its medium-speed corners, four heavy-breaking zones, and unpredictable weather due to its location in the Eifel Mountains.
