HP has released a new device called the “DreamScreen,” which offers digital photo frame functionality and a slew of nifty Internet tablet capabilities. The drawback? It’s not a touchscreen.
The DreamScreen offers built-in WiFi, allowing you to access Facebook, Snapfish, Pandora, and thousands of other Internet radio stations. The twist is that everything is preset: there are no options for updating your own Facebook status, for example. You can just track your friends’ updates, photo uploads, etc. in real time. HP, Dell, Lenovo still not green enough

The latest edition of Greenpeace’s Guide to Greener Electronics reveals that the world’s biggest PC makers — Hewlett-Packard, Dell, and Lenovo — have failed to improve their low scores. All three maintain a penalty point for backtracking on their commitments to eliminate PVC plastic and brominated flame retardants from their products by the end of 2009.

Size doesn’t matter, unless you’re a PC

Size doesn’t matter… Or so they say but the Eee PC could be the exception to the rule. A fellow blogger, Lia, wrote about the HP Voodoo, the Mac Air Rival. I say phooey! We don’t need a $2100 lightweight laptop, we need a 7″ computer that can handle the everyday tasks that we’ve all come to know and love (banking, email, document writing and more)!
