Hines Ward Extends with Steelers Until 2013

Hines Ward of the Pittsburgh Steelers has played a vital role in two Super Bowl championships. As a reward, Ward signed a four-year contract extension with the Steelers that will pay him more than $20 million.
The 33-year-old wide receiver will now be under contract until after the 2013 season. Prior to this extension, Ward was going to be a free agent after the end of the 2009 NFL season.

Will the Bengals Get Revenge Against Hines Ward?

Last month, Hines Ward delivered a blow that broke the jaw of Cincinnati Bengals rookie linebacker Keith Rivers. On Sunday, the Bengals will play against Ward and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Not so quietly, some members of the Bengals have been mentioning the possibility of revenge. Ward, who is undoubtedly the most physical wide receiver in the NFL, says he isn’t worried.
