Honda Recalls 440,000 More Cars

A dangerous flaw in several hundred thousand Honda vehicles’ airbag inflation mechanisms has forced the Japanese automaker to issue a recall for the affected vehicles, which it widened today to include another 440,000 cars. The 2001-2002 Honda Accord, the 2001 Civic, and the 2002-2003 Acura TL have all been mentioned in the recall report.
According to Honda, 6 people have already been injured and 1 person has died due to the error. Fixing the faulty airbag mechanism will involve replacing the airbag inflator for the airbag mounted on the steering wheel. The error causes the airbag inflator to increase pressure on …read more
