Hurricane Season officially began June 1, but it really gets going in August and September. If you live in Florida or anywhere in the Gulf Coast areas, you have probably thought about the obvious protections, getting supplies to board up windows, but don’t forget other ways to protect your business. Is Hurricane Fay Affecting Your eBay Business?
My friend Lori McAuliffe who owns the eBay Store Rocket City Sales, sent me this comment regarding how the weather can affect eBay sales.
“Today alone we have 4 items that sold going to Florida areas where people are home, the weather is not bad enough to knock out power, so they are piddling on the internet and buying on eBay. This trend would continue since Hurricane Fay may linger for the next week around Florida , Georgia, and possibly Alabama, depending on what track she takes.”
