Senator Arlen Specter has intimated that he is not done investigating the New England Patriots.
Specter, a Republican from Pennsylvania, said in a telephone interview that his comments to the editorial board of The Philadelphia Daily News earlier this week “didn’t really come out with the proper flavor.”

Michael Vick pleaded guilty in court and suddenly he was all sorry and felt dog fighting was so terrible. Come on.
The plea was accepted by Hudson, who asked: “Are you entering the plea of guilty to a conspiracy charge because you are in fact guilty?”
Vick answered yes, and Hudson emphasized his broad latitude in sentencing.

Johnny Depp says “They are more like guidelines, savvy?”
Well, the supposed secret is out and it looks like Michael Vick will be suspended for the year.
Oddly enough, it appears that there is a way out of the suspension, since it will be Michael’s first offense.
Commissioner Goodell is way serious at this point, making it clear that Michael will not be allowed to return during the year.

The Savannah Morning News Online Edition reports that Michael will play, even after a federal indictment.
This much we know: Michael Vick won’t be on the field when the Atlanta Falcons open training camp next Thursday. He’ll be in a federal courtroom. What happens after that was anyone’s guess Wednesday, and there was no shortage of opinions.
Suspend him. Cut him. Let him play until he’s proven guilty of felony charges that he sponsored a gruesome dogfighting operation.
