Rubens Barrichello, Jenson Button battled for Brawn GP on Sunday afternoon against current Formula One World Champion, Lewis Hamilton driving for McLaren in a dramatic affair that saw it come down to the last pit stop deciding it all. Hamilton grabbed the lead as expected due to using KERS in a lightly fuelled McLaren and was able to pull ahead of Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen and Force India’s Adrian Sutil in the early part of the race. Valentino Rossi left any doubts about him bouncing back from his DNF in Indianapolis in his dust on the pavement of Milano, Italy Sunday afternoon, by taking his second consecutive win in two years at this Italian circuit with a crowd thrilling ride in the Gran Premio Cinzano di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini. Giancarlo Fisichella Moves to Ferrari

The landscape of Formula One racing will be changing a bit as Giancarlo Fisichella has asked for and received his release from his agreement with Force India on Thursday. Giancarlo will now suit up and get behind the wheel of a Ferrari for the remaining five races of the 2009 Formula One season. He’ll be replacing Ferrari test driver Luca Badoer as a stand-in for injured Felipe Massa in next weekend’s Italian Grand Prix and then will act as Ferrari’s reserve driver for the 2010 Formula One season.
