Best and Worst of Sports in 2007, Part I

What would the tail end of December be without a handy-dandy list of the year’s best and worst? Here we go, in no particular order:
BEST
Tackle: This one is not only easy, it’s a post-Christmas gift to bloggers and bloggerettes everywhere. NFL official James Quirk pulled down linebacker Nick Barnett of the Green Bay Packers in the December 23 game against the Chicago Bears. Quirk got fined $8,150 for the incident, but at least he got a shout-out from Gossip on Sports.
