I have to admit, I was surprised. Skier and a Football player? Heh. Who would’ve thought?
I’m talking about Jeremy Bloom, who just represented the US in this year’s Winter Olympics in Torino – as a skier.
I’m not saying that skiers cannot be football players and vice versa. It’s just confusing, I reckon. I guess when the officials decided that Bloom can’t play football if he wants to ski, I can’t help but agree.
Bloom’s a star in both sports, I guess. I mean, he wouldn’t have competed in the Olympics if he wasn’t good enough to represent the US, right? But …read more
