The hoody featured here is in black with red details.  Over the right breast is a small embroidered Nike & swoosh. Over the left breast is a beautifully detailed and unmistakable Manchester United emblem in red. There is also a embroidery of ‘United’ stitched on the back in white and red stitch. Another unexpected detail that I only realized later was the small Manchester United crest in the traditional red and yellow crest found near the cuff of the left sleeve.

The sweater also has the typical hoody sweater open pocket on the front. The hoody draw strings are also very visible as they stand out in red. And for those of you who like to know where your cloths are made, the sweater is fabricated in Vietnam.

Nike Manchester United Hooded Sweatshirt – Black

adidas and the Toronto FC (MLS) have just unveiled their new jerseys for the 2009. Instead of the old Canadian colours of red and white, Toronto will now sport orange and grey jerseys.

The jerseys are available for sale at the MLS store online on December 5th for about $65.00 I think. Don’t complain if it’s wrong.

Get Geared Up for the 2008-2009 NHL Season

Made of 100% polyester materials, the fabric is both warm and breathable. I was a little confused when I saw it for the first time, because it’s more of a mesh rather than a fleece as it advertises. In fact, the inner side of the jacket is soft for comfort while the outer shell is mesh. So if it’s comfort and warmth you’re after than you won’t be disappointed. I mean after I put it on for the first time I couldn’t believe how warm it felt, which is great because it feels more like a light jacket.

Another thing I found interesting was that the stretchable seams are strangely shaped. On the cuffs for example, they are wider on the wrists. I’m not sure why the designers did that, but I like it! (the bottom seams are wider on the hips). The jacket also sports two pockets – perfect for warming your hands on a cool summer morning.  

The colours on it are also very vibrant. The jacket combines a solid dark blue base with three vibrant yellow stripes, clearly distinguishing it as an Adidas product. You also can’t miss the Adidas symbol under the front left pocket. “Galaxy” appears on the back in white print, as well as a smartly embroidered LA Shield on the left sleeve. “BECKHAM 23″ appears on the opposite sleeve in blue and yellow.

There is no mistaking this fleece as anything other than a soccer jacket (which is what I love about it!). But at the same time, it’s subtle enough to wear to the mall or supermarket or anything else casual without looking too flashy.

My only complaint was that the zipper seems to be a little tight, which may lead to problems in the future. Whatever points it lost on the zipper it fully redeemed itself for its easy-care ability. The garment doesn’t require and special treatment like dry-cleaning – just throw it in with the rest of the laundry.

You can get it now at Soccer Pro for just $66.50 that’s $3.50 cheaper than the competitions. They are available in S, M, L, XL, & XXL. Oh, and I wouldn’t wait too long to order one of these jackets, because they have been selling like crazy.
