I was very intrigued when I learned that the John Lennon & The Plastic Ono Band Live In Toronto ’69 DVD was coming out this week – the event took place on the night before the Beatles’ last album, Abbey Road, was released and it was the only time this The Plastic Ono Band was ever caught on film. 

Lennon, Ono, Clapton, Klaus Voorman and Alan White took to the stage at the Toronto Rock and Roll Revival Festival in September, 1969 and the fact that someone managed to capture this monumental performance on camera is incredible. 

I plan to watch this later this week.  I think it will be fascinating to see the chemistry between the musicians along with a small insight into the relationship of John Lennon and Yoko Ono.

Woman charged with stalking Lakers forward Walton

Walton said Beshear has been harassing him since late last year. He told the Orange County Register she waited outside his Manhattan Beach home numerous times and wrote on his car with a marker after he refused to sign an autograph.

Why on earth would anyone want to stalk Luke Walton? Michael Jordan in his heyday, sure. Dwaye Wade, definitely. Kobe Bryant, makes much more sense. But Luke Walton?

I never understood his appeal. I still don’t get it. And I’m a firm believer that he only made it into the NBA on the reputation of his last name.

But I have to say that it’s probably better that the woman got arrested. Granted, Walton is no John Lennon but we don’t want another tragedy on our hands.

Luke Walton Has A Stalker?
