Who are the best starting pitchers in baseball? While there are a number of starting pitchers who are playing well up until this point in the 2009 baseball season, here are the best of the best:
1) Zack Greinke, Kansas City Royals
While he has certainly cooled off from historically hot start, Greinke still has fantastic stats. He has an 8-2 record with an ERA of 1.72 and a WHIP of 0.99.
2) Johnny Cueto, Cincinnati Reds

Did you guys see the line from Johnny Cueto? Yeah, I know, can you believe it. First MLB start and the guy had ten strikeouts. Yeah, I know. He was perfect through five innings too.
