J.P. Losman Joins the UFL

J.P. Losman, who played last year with the Buffalo Bills, has decided to join the UFL — a fledgling football league. Losman indicates that he’s making this move since his other option is to remain in the NFL as a backup. By starting in the UFL, Losman hopes to improve his stock and eventually return to the NFL.
The 28-year-old Losman played his college football at Tulane. For the last five years, he’s played with the Bills. His best season came in 2006 when he played in all 16 games and totaled 3,051 passing yards to go along with 19 touchdowns.
