The Ultimate Fighter USA Vs. UK Ep. 3 Recap

The new era of Browning drunken splendor started early this season. Junie Browning’s younger brother Robert made his presence known early in this episode and started acting foolish before he even fought to actually make it ON the show.
The contestants enter the house and start taking a look around. They see the wall murals with Team USA Territory and another with Team UK Territory. The fighters mingle and Junie…I mean Robert starts drinking and encouraging others to take shots. He starts throwing eggs out on to the basketball court where other fighters are getting acquainted and shooting some hoops. Later …read more

UFC Fight Night 18 Confirmed Main Card

Looks like we will see Junie Browning fight once more in the UFC. Junie and TUF season 8 winners Efrain Escudero and Ryan Bader will all be fighting on the UFN 18 main card.
Carlos Condit will either prove to the nay-sayers that he’s not just a great WEC fighter, but a great all around MMA fighter.
Efrain Escudero may have his hands full against Jeremy Stephens. Stephens doesn’t want to lose back-to-back fights, especially to a UFC newcomer.

The Ultimate Finale Recap

The Ultimate Finale aired Saturday night on Spike TV and it’s a good thing I’m not a gambling man because both of the fighters I picked to win…lost. That’s what makes MMA so exciting. You can think that a fighter will win based on how his skill in one of his disciplines is versus the others but it doesn’t always work out the way you expect it.
The non Televised fights results are as follows:

Roli Delgado defeated John Polakowski with a guillotine choke at 2:18 in the second round
Shane Nelson defeated George Roop in a split decision
Tom Lawlor defeated Kyle …read more

Frank Mir Speaks Out About Junie Browning

Martial arts has always been about discipline, about being in a better physical and mental fighter than your opponent. Although mixed martial arts is a bit different, it still holds the same values in my opinion. If you don’t have a clear state of mind and focus then your opponent may get the best of you.
Junie Browning showed some impressive skills when he fought Jose Aguilar on the first episode of The Ultimate Fighter 8. He made short work of Aguilar and impressed both Dana White and Frank Mir.
It wasn’t long after that we saw an alcohol fueled Junie Browning …read more

The Ultimate Fighter 8.10 Recap

The final Lightweight fight aired last night on UFC’s The Ultimate Fighter with Team Noguiera’s John Polakowski facing Team Mir’s George Roop.
John Polakowski, while seeming like he has a bit of ADHD was the favored pick of this fight due to the fact that George Roop injured his hand pretty badly during practice when he got it caught in the fencing of the octagon. However during the fight he was throwing a lot of good left hands and feet and going for some take downs. Polakowski was trying to throw a lot of punches and landed a few good …read more

The Ultimate Fighter 8.06 Recap

The Junie Browning Saga continues in last night episode of The Ultimate Fighter 8. Frank Mir was pretty happy to win last weeks fight and gain control of the fights. Team Mir ended up pitting Junie Browning up against Roli Delgado. During the fight announcement and Face-To-Face, Junie brings a black-belt in, throws it on the ground and spits at it. More psychological warfare and Junie looking like an asshole once again.
The Black Belt
Everyone to include Frank Mir was skeptical on the legitimacy of Delgado’s black belt because it was a long drawn out story of how he earned it. …read more

The Ultimate Fighter 8.04 Recap

Another episode, another alcohol induced event of TUF drama unfolds. The fighters were allowed to watch UFC 84 and during the even Junie Browning and Shane Nelson put down about three bottles of wine and a bunch of shots of tequila. Junie and Shane start playing around, talking trash to Team Nogueira and it escalates to Junie throwing a glass at Kyle Kingsbury and cutting him on his left forearm.
From there it just got more stupid. Nelson starts talking trash to Roli Delgado and Efrain Escudero and even pushes both fighters. More drama ensues outside by the pool after Nelson …read more
