Apparently former NFL great Junior Seau is bored with retirement. Or perhaps he missed being hit. Why else would he purposely put himself in the ring with a bull?

TMZ reports that Seau was a guest at the Professional Bull Rider’s Invitational this weekend and jumped in the ring to participate. Why? We don’t know. I suppose when you’re constantly up against guys who are 300-some pounds, running with something as “harmless” as an angry bull seems like no big deal.

The other day I was thinking about those Nike commercials from 1994, where Dennis Hopper would talk about various NFL players and how awesome they were. I LOVED these commercials. Dennis was so crazy and it really made you stop and go “huh?” when the commercials came on. (As any good commercial should.)

Junior Seau is usually the one hitting hard on Sundays, but this past weekend he was the one who got hit…. by a fan!
Apparently he was caught off guard by a fan who jumped out and tackled him by surprise. (Which incidentally, if you’re looking for a way to share the love with your favorite player – this is NOT the way to do it!)
