Darren McFadden to Undergo Knee Surgery

Darren McFadden hasn’t been very good this season. But things have gone from bad to worse for McFadden. The fourth overall pick of the 2008 NFL Draft needs knee surgery to fix torn knee cartilage. McFadden will be out at least the next two weeks.
On the season, McFadden has 145 rushing yards, 53 receiving yards and one touchdown. His yards per carry of 3.1 yards is a very underwhelming number for the Raiders.

Oakland Raiders Add Fullback Lorenzo Neal

On the offensive side of the ball, the Oakland Raiders have a lot of youth. However, by recently adding fullback Lorenzo Neal to the mix, the Raiders were able to get some much needed veteran savvy and toughness.
The 38-year-old Neal has 17 years of experience in the NFL. Last season, he played for the Baltimore Ravens. In the previous five seasons, Neal blocked for LaDainian Tomlinson while with the San Diego Chargers. Other stops in his career include the New Orleans Saints, the New York Jets, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Tennessee Titans and the Cincinnati Bengals.
