The Minneapolis St. Paul Star Tribune says that she “didn’t want to be bothered. At the end, they had police standing at the end of her row warding people off.” She also “looked irritated by the attention. She totally had an attitude.”

If you’re going to be a GORGE movie star who insists on dating a GORGE baseball star, you’ve got to assume you’re going to get a little bit of attention. Don’t you?

If it isn’t, this is one way to REALLY drop a hint to a guy, isn’t it? A-Rod can answer even more questions about whether the two of them are getting hitched or not. And to wear it at the game even? Pretty bold. Apparently it was very visible as she typed away on her blackberry. (If she’s there to root for her man, why stick your nose in your blackberry?)

Anywho, we’ve heard these rumors once before when A-Rod was handing out Kabbalah water to a certain Material Girl. I’m waiting until I get some more confirmation on this one.

Kate Hudson Wearing Diamonds on Left Hand

I’m not a guy, of course, but hearing that Kate Hudson has been making baby talk with Alex Rodriguez was frightening even to me. Kate already has a five-year old soon, but one source says now that Kate is turning 30 she wants another child. She’s even brought it up to Alex, who naturally wasn’t as keen on the idea. (A dad paying child support will be like that.) Kate assured A-Rod that she will pay for the kid, however.

Sidenote: What exactly happens to women when they turn 30?

Anyone have predictions on what will happen next? My guess is either a breakup or a baby. We’ll see….

A-Rod Spends Father’s Day with Kate Hudson

A-Rod and Kate Hudson are both denying they are an item (as per their usual M.O.) and yet still are seen locking lips and going places together. The latest incident of them hanging out together was Sunday night, where they were seen coming out of the 40/40 nightclub. They left separately. But sources say A-Rod brought Kate there to meet his teammates C.C. Sabathia and Mariano Rivera.

Later, the two attended the Mustang Grill on Second Avenue, where the bartender was supposedly “asking patrons not to go in the back room around 1 a.m. because A-Rod and Kate Hudson were back there making out.”

A-Rod Locks Lips with Kate Hudson

When I first heard about the cast for My Best Friend’s Girl (2008), I was so turned off that I didn’t even go to the theatres to see it, nor did I rent it when it first came out on DVD earlier this year.  It was my birthday yesterday and I needed a comedy but I couldn’t think of any that I hadn’t seen and I didn’t feel like going to the theater.  So, I browsed through the recently released DVDs at Blockbuster and decided on this one (the “unrated” version).

The story follows Tank (Dane Cook) who faces the ultimate test of friendship when his best friend, Dustin (Jason Biggs) hires him to take his ex-girlfriend, Alexis (Kate Hudson) out on a horrible date.  Why would Dustin do that?  To make Alexis realize that he is much better than men like Tank.  Yeah, dumb idea… As you can predict, things get complicated when Tank begins to fall for Alexis but it gets downright horrifying when he’s invited to her sister’s wedding and gets recognized for taking the bride on the worst date of her life.  The lies begin to unravel and you’ll find yourself laughing as you cringe in your seat.

I love Dane Cook as a stand-up comedian and I did like Jason Biggs in the American Pie franchise but not as much in any of his other movies.  I am not a big fan of Kate Hudson’s with the exception of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and, even then, I think it was the result of a good plot rather than her acting skills.  So, I really wasn’t sure how the three of them were going to work out together.  In the end, I wonder if the director felt the same way because they really did not appear in too many scenes together (off-hand, I can only think of the three of them being in the same room twice).  I think that was the movie’s saving grace.  Alec Baldwin makes an appearance as Tank’s womanizing father and (no surprise there) he plays the role exceedingly well.  I wanted to punch him about two-thirds into the movie.

DVD Review: “My Best Friend’s Girl”

Last we heard about A-Rod, he was busy being sad at the fact that Madonna is apparently OVAH him!

When you and I breakup with someone we probably sit in our jammies with a tub of ice cream (please tell me someone else does this!) but not A-Rod. He’s cozying up to Kate Hudson. The twosome went on a “flirty date” with some other people at the Lure Fishbar in New York. They shared a “three-hour meal” and were all goo-goo eyes for each other.

Or maybe he’s just trying to make Madonna jealous?

A-Rod Gets Chummy With Kate Hudson

Well, we can’t be sure, and we don’t want to start rumors or anything. But it doesn’t hurt to just kind of toss that out as a theory.

The erstwhile happy couple seems to be doing dandy after parting ways: He came in second in a 100-mile mountain bike race through the Rockies; she’s gushing about ex-husband Chris Robinson. (Are we the only ones who wonder why, if Robinson is so fantabulous, those two crazy lovebirds got divorced?)

In a way, we’re glad the flash-in-the-pan romance between Lance and Kate didn’t get too intense, what with Armstrong’s BFF Matthew McConaughey burying baby Levi’s placenta and all. Do we really need a Hollywood trend like that? Didn’t think so.
