NASCAR Unveils New Nationwide Series Car

The drivers and teams got a look at the new Nationwide Series cars for next year Monday on the pavement of Talledega and based on first impressions of the drivers, teams and spectators, the 2010 Nationwide Series is going to be entertaining for all involved. NASCAR rolled out the new Dodge Challenger on Saturday, but Monday they rolled out the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Impala, and Toyota Camry, along with the Dodge Challenger for fans, drivers and teams to take a look at. Kelly Bires is a dreamer! A NASCAR competitor who has had to take whatever opportunity comes his way in order to keep his dream of a NASCAR championship alive. Keselowski Wins First NASCAR Race at Nashville

Brad Keselowski picked up his first win in the Nationwide Series on Saturday night, and the first of the season for JR Motorsports, as he took the lead from points leader, Clint Bowyer, with just five laps remaining and then cruised on his way to victory, winning the Federated Auto Parts 300 at Nashville Superspeedway.
Keselowski set the stage for the finish of the race when he stayed out on the track on lap 79 of the 225 lap event as the rest of the leaders made their way down pit road, led by then race leader, Joey Logano. The call …read more

RCR With Another 1-2 Finish

It was the first time in 2008 that a Nationwide Series race was won by someone other than a Sprint Cup regular, the second week in a row that RCR posted a 1-2 NASCAR finish, and the first time since 2003 that Scott Wimmer visited victory lane. And, to make it all the more sweeter for Wimmer, the win came in a week in which the Sprint Cup enjoyed a weekend without racing, meaning that Scott had the stage all to himself after picking up the checkers in Saturday’s Pepsi 300.
