Sorry, guys (and maybe some girls). WWE’s Kelly Kelly shot down recent rumors flying around that she’s in the works for a Playboy shoot. Unfortunately she says she has no plans…but give her some time and Hef’ might throw a number out there that she likes. This is what she had to say on her Myspace blog. It was private so I acquired it from Wrestlezone.com: Larger image and blog entry after the fold…

Last Night’s WWE Raw from Seattle Washington, saw Chris Jericho as acting General Manager due to Mike Adamle being called to an important meeting with Shane McMahon. Jericho comes out with a big bruise around the left side of his mouth. Talking about the PPV and how he is still the champ but Shawn Michaels did exactly what he said he was going to do by "disfiguring" him and pulls back his lip to show a broken tooth. He goes on to talk more about the match and how he beat the man that revolutionized the ladder match. He …read more

RAW Results and Commentary
Kane def. Matt Striker
Segment Eight
Mid-match between Kane and Matt Striker Mrs. Jabandgrapple says “I don’t know about this Adamle reign so far. It’s pretty gimmicky. Does RAW really need gimmicks?” Gotta agree.
While Kane grabs Matt Striker in a chokeslam he gives the former wrestler a wedgie and we see enough cheekage to increase the rating above TV-PG. Funny stuff. Post-match Kane grabs the mic and says he’s better now after being in a bad place. He spends a few awkward seconds staring at his burlap bag.
I would rather have seen Striker trying to discretely remove …read more

The Miz and Morrison def. Kane and CM Punk
Vince McMahon’s announcement of the June 23 WWE Draft has taken a bit of anticipation from tonight’s ECW matches. The bookend tag team matches were fun but their feuds will surely not be maintained when a few of these stars will be drafted into other WWE brands.
For example, it’s hard for me to put any attention to the Kofi Kingston – Shelton Benjamin rivalry because …read more

I’ll admit it. I liked last night’s ECW. Three of the four matches featured some good wrestling. The storylines were kept to a minimum and we just got to see some fun grappling.
Because of my love for all things Real World/Road Rules Challenge I enjoy The Miz and want to see him succeed. When he says “I’m …read more
Backlash: Triple H Earns WWE Championship; Matt Hardy Crowned US Champ
WWE Backlash took place last night at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Maryland and two major titles changed hands. In the main event Triple H bested former-champ Randy Orton, John Cena, and JBL to claim the most prestigious title in sports entertainment.Cena opened up the eliminations in the bout, submitting JBL with the STFU before being quickly eliminated by Orton with a punt to the head. After a long one-on-one showdown Triple H pinned Orton with a pedigree to win the title.
In the other title change at the event Matt Hardy defeated MVP with a clean twist of fate …read more
Kane, “Familia” Brawl on ECW

Tommy Dreamer & Kelly Kelly def. Mike Knox & Layla
Jimmy Wang Yang def. John Morrison
Kofi Kingston def. Shelton Benjamin
Mark Henry def. Nunzio
Poor match booking from top to bottom this week on ECW. I’m struggling to find anything in the entire hour worthy passing along. The “Familia” as they’re now being called with Edge, Vickie Guerrero, Chavo, and others, attacked Kane in what I guess you could call the main event, even though it wasn’t a match. Giving the group a name is semi-useful. It was getting pretty confusing as it kept growing and the simple title goes a long way …read more
