Hank Baskett, the husband of Playboy model and The Girls Next Door star Kendra Wilkinson, has signed a deal to join the Indianapolis Colts. Earlier in the week, Baskett was waived by the Philadelphia Eagles to make room for Michael Vick’s addition to the active roster.
Baskett played his first four seasons in the NFL with the Eagles. In 48 games, he had 72 catches for 1052 yards and six touchdowns. The 6-foot-4 wide receiver played his college football at New Mexico.

Well, they did it. Philadelphia Eagles Wide Receiver Hank Baskett wed girlfriend (and Girl Next Door) Kendra Wilkinson at the Playboy mansion on Saturday. Was it weird that she got married at the house of her former boyfriend Hugh Hefner? If it was, neither Hank nor Kendra was saying so.

According to People, 24-year old Kendra “walked down the aisle in a white dress, dripping in more than $100,000 worth of platinum jewelry by Michael Barin, including drop earrings, a pendant and bracelet.” Hank wore white as well.

The Girls Next Door season 5 will be released on DVD tomorrow and fans will want to want to pick up a copy since it’s the last full season to feature Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt as Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends.
The season featured guest appearances from Pamela Anderson and Anna Faris (among others) with whom Hefner, Madison, Marquardt and Wilkinson appeared in the 2008 movie The House Bunny.

Kendra Wilkinson did a web chat where she said she’s moving to Philadelphia (naturally, since she’s marrying Philly Eagle Hank Baskett), and talked about football in general… and said a few nasties about Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.

According to one source, “When asked if Jessica Simpson was a jinx for the Cowboys, Kendra said, “Jessica isn’t the problem for the Cowboys, it’s Tony Romo. He’s such an F-up.”

Does Philadelphia Eagle Hank Baskett know what he’s getting into with marrying Kendra Wilkinson? I’m sure he does, but one has to ask when we hear the things she says! As if we haven’t seen enough of Kendra Wilkinson with the Girls Next Door, she will now get her own reality show which she describes as “a cross between I Love Lucy and Jessica Simpson’s former MTV show Newlyweds.”

All I can say is: Poor Hank Baskett!
Kendra says the first episode or so will focus on how she copes with living outside “the mansion” and planning her wedding to Baskett. From that point it goes to the wedding, and presumably will follow them as they begin married life.

The fourth season of E! cable television network’s The Girls Next Door was released on DVD last month.
The show follows the lives of Playboy editor-in-chief (and show creator), Hugh Hefner, and his three girlfriends, Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt, and Kendra Wilkinson.  The show is great because it gives you a behind-the-scenes look at some of the big events that take place at the Playboy Mansion, Playboy test shoots and then private functions like birthday parties.  It’s really interesting to see what it’s like to live there!
