BJ Penn Accuses St Pierre of Using Steroids
August 6, 2009 by Ryan Harkness

While BJ Penn is facing off against Kenny Florian this weekend at UFC 101, he still seems pretty hung up over his brutal loss to Georges St Pierre back in January. He spent the first half of the year accusing St Pierre’s corner of greasing him up between rounds (a huge fiasco that most determined was much ado about nothing), and now he’s making headlines again by accusing Georges of using steroids.
During an interview with Yahoo’s Kevin Iole, BJ said “It’s just my opinion that he uses steroids. That’s it. My opinion. I do believe it. I can’t hand you …read more

With all the crazy politics going on lately, it’s easy to forget that from time to time fights actually happen in the cage. Over the next few days I’m going to do my best to get you up to speed on UFC 101, an awesome MMA card that’s happening this weekend in Philadelphia (and on your TV via pay per view). Today I’ll run through the main event: BJ Penn versus Kenny Florian.
This one’s for the UFC lightweight belt and has an interesting narrative behind it. BJ Penn just got pasted by Georges St Pierre a few months back … …read more
Kenny Florian To Commentate WEC 41

According to en email update I received yesterday morning, Kenny Florian says he’ll be doing the color commentary for WEC 41, Brown Vs. Faber 2. He also said that his formal training camp will begin next week and that you can follow him on Twitter .
After his win over Joe Stephenson, I’m eager to see where this match will go. Florian has carried himself a long way since his TUF days and has proven not to just be another fighter from the show that comes and goes.
“On June 7th I will be doing the color commentary on Versus for WEC …read more

Anderson Silva will move up in weight class to take on Forrest Griffin at UFC 101 in August in Philadelphia. Silva has defended his middleweight title 5 times in the UFC, not counting his non-title fight against Travis Lutter in 2007. Silva has won 9 consecutive fights in the UFC, to include as first round win over James Irvin in his Light heavyweight debut in July of last year. Now he’s moving back in to the light-heavyweight ranks for the moment to fight TUF season 1 winner and former LHW champ Forrest Griffin.

Florian: “I will Be Fighting BJ Penn”

Kenny Florian Vs. BJ Penn: Kenny Florian has been on a war path since his first loss in the UFC against fellow TUF 1 fighter Diego Sanchez at the TUF finale. Everyone thought Florian was a chump. Sanchez proved he was a good fighter on the show and everyone kind of expected him to win, but Florian’s skill was not showcased well. After the show he continued to fight in the UFC and won his next three fights until losing to Sean Sherk by decision in 2006. Since then Florian has been on a streak of 6 wins. His last …read more
GSP Vs. BJ Penn…A Third Time?
February 6, 2009 by Scott Wharton
That’s right. We might get to see a third fight between the two bitter rivals. BJ Penn filed a request for investigation against Georges St. Pierre’s corner after his loss last Saturday due to the Vaseline being applied to GSP’s back. A lot of people see it the same way without the Vaseline. I think both BJ Penn and GSP are great fighters, but I haven’t seen anyone train with a harder work ethic than GSP. I think GSP was in better condition and fought much better.
Georges St. Pierre’s side already said he would fight Penn again and Penn …read more
Diego Sanchez Vs. Joe Stevenson At UFC 95

Diego Sanchez has dropped down to the 155 lightweight class and will face Joe Stevenson at UFC 95 in London, England.
During The Ultimate Fighter Season 1 I didn’t like Diego Sanchez. He had this certain cockiness about him, but they also made him look very unintelligent during the season. Sanchez proved that he was in it to win it during the show and came out on top with his win over Kenny Florian in the Ultimate Finale. Diego’s last fight was a win over Luigi Fioravanti at The Ultimate Finale 7.
