Turns out Kim received a couple of racy text messages from Kanye West, and Reggie found out about it. According to Fox:

“The texts referenced a night they hung out, how much fun he had, how hot Kim was, and more racy things that got Reggie’s imagination running.”

They could have just referred to a night where the two hung out together, although it does look pretty bad on Kim’s part. After he found the texts, Reggie confronted Kim about it and they realized there were several trust issues in their relationship. (Which really isn’t a surprise when you try to date long distance.)

The trust issues were enough that they felt their relationship was kaput.

Was Kanye to blame? I have my doubts on this one. How about you?

Kanye West Behind Bush/Kardashian Breakup?

The last few months there has also been a lot of speculation about whether the two would get married. Kim dropped some hints about saying yes if Reggie asked, and you know that can really put some pressure on a relationship if the guy is not really ready for that.

For some reason, I really thought they were in it for the long haul. They dated since 2007, and that’s an eternity in Hollywood. Or perhaps Tony Romo called up Reggie and said, “Hey – football season is about to start – it’s time to get serious.”

Or not.

Wonder if Jessica Simpson and Kim Kardashian will be hanging out together now that they’re single?

2. The whole ceremony will be documented on a very special Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
3. Because you just know she’s gonna convince him to do a separate reality show.
4. It will continue the Kardashian tradition of marrying athletes.
5. For any non-saints fans, it may distract Reggie enough to throw him off his game.
6. Kim will have an excuse to make another sex tape.
7. It will irritate Jessica Simpson, who has yet to get a ring from Tony Romo.
8. Maybe Bruce Jenner will get drunk at the wedding and challenge Reggie Bush to a mini-decathlon.
9. Kim will pull out all the stops to top Giselle double (shotgun) wedding to Tom Brady.
10. Because there will never be another “Bush and the Tush.”

In case you’re wondering if Ms. K. will ever marry her beau Reggie Bush, I can tell you she certainly is giving him one hint upon another these days. She has even emailed him photos of the kind of engagement ring she would like, and went so far as to go ring shopping with a few pals. And get this, she’s even using some reverse psychology on Mr. New Orleans Saints. She said, “I definitely scared him and told him it was probably way more expensive than it is, just so that when he goes he feels like he’s getting a good deal.”

That’s brilliant! Now, if Reggie reads this column he’ll know what’s up. (Something tells me he does anyway.)

Kim Kardashian’s Reverse Psychology Trip on Reggie Bush

Getting? Like some of them haven’t already? (I’m talking to you, Bruce!)

Kim told reporters at an event Sunday night at the Hard Rock Hotel that, “I can’t tell you who, but someone in my family will look totally different and viewers will see it all on the show very soon.”

Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush appeared at the Mercedes-Benz Fall 2009 Fashion Week a few weeks ago. I’m always surprised at the stuff she drags him to, aren’t you? They looked FABULOUS together, of course, but my gosh I do not love the dress she has on. The lipstick and hair also makes her look like about 40-years old.

Do you think she’s testing out the white dress for the future? Hmmm…..?

Yes, Kim will be showing lotsa skin (along with some wonderful scenic backgrounds) in a calendar she is creating for 2010. She’s doing the photos for it now, and the gossip says they are steamy indeed! (Would we expect any less? Honestly?)

Incidentally, if you haven’t visited her website yet, you really should. It’s actually very fun and has lots of great photos (and they aren’t all with her scantily clad – for those folks who had their minds in the gutter!).

Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush headed to Serendipity 3 the other night for a little Valentine’s Day celebration, and like the famous couple they are they noticed a slew of cameras there. To protect their privacy, they began “hiding behind menus” so they couldn’t be filmed…. only to realize that the cameras were “filming a promotional event in the store” and were not interested in them at all.

DOH!

The most interesting part of this story is not that there were camera crews that weren’t interested in “Bush and the Tush” but that Kim Kardashian tried to avoid a camera at all.

Yes, I’m talking to YOU, Madonna! It’s not that Kabbalah (or water) is a bad thing, it’s just that I don’t need to hear about both of them when I’m reading about sports. I don’t need to know how many bottles of Kabbalah water A-Rod has handed to you, or drank, or touched, or looked at. Sports should be SPORTS, darn it! Gatorade is the only sports drink I want to hear about in 2009.

Sure, it’s easy to do. I’ve been known to (occasionally) make fun of a girlfriend or two myself. Ahem…

But seriously, it’s not Giselle’s fault that Tom Brady was out most of the year with a knee injury, or Kim Kardashian’s fault that Reggie Bush got injured, or Jessica Simpson’s fault that Tony Romo chokes in the playoffs (and falls down in the shower.)

Hey, we’re happy that Jessica hearts Tony, but the interviews about how great Tony is and how he saved her and how she was nothing before him and how she likes to decorate a Christmas tree just for him…..

…enough already! I have this to say: Tony, just marry her already so we don’t have to listen to anymore!

1. Stop Comparing Aaron Rodgers to Brett Favre

I’m sure it’s hard to follow a legend (and like him or hate him, Brett Favre IS a legend), but the butt kissing that reporters have been doing the entire year with Aaron Rodgers is just ridiculous. I watched every single game and was extremely dismayed every time I’d see Aaron Rodgers scramble while a sports caster would say something like, “Aaron Rogers has to compete against Brett Favre every pass” or “Aaron Rodgers is actually a better quarterback than Brett Favre” or “Aaron Rodgers is just an amazing young man and has a great deal of pressure on him.”

Here’s the thing. Brett Favre is gone and he got slightly screwed by the Packers on his way out. But when he was gone, he was GONE. In other words, we don’t need to hear about him every single play. During one game Coach McCarthy actually gave stats on Rodgers’ hand size in comparison to Favre’s! In one of the final games of the year, I counted Favre’s named mentioned 16 different times.

Aaron Rodgers is a good first-year quarterback. He may be a great quarterback one day. But with one (losing) year in, it’s too early to say. Perhaps when Rodgers has been in the league 17 years we can make comparisons. For 2009, however, I just want him to shut up and play and the announcers to call the game in front of them, rather than the ghosts they see on the field.
