Scene It? Twilight for the Wii

I wrote about this game back in September and at the time I didn’t have any images for you guys.
Basically, nothing has changed since then except the fact that I have eight sweet screenshots for you.
Even though I thought the first movie was horrible, I still kind of want to play this game.
And, based on the sales figures for New Moon [which was much better than Twilight] I have a sneaking suspicion that the Scene it? Twilight for the Wii game is going to sell like hot cakes.
Imagine all of the TwiMoms who will snatch up this game.
The game was …read more

Way back in’86, a game called Akumajō Dracula [Devil's Castle Dracula] was released in Japan and just about no one over here in the States had a clue. But Akumajō Dracula was the great, great granddaddy of the Castlevania series and in ‘87, the US got their first taste with Castlevania.
Since then, the game [and its game babies] has been released on just about every system known to man and a movie has been in the works since 2005 – which was canceled but now might be back on.
The most recent installment in the Castlevania series – Lords of Shadow …read more

*happy dance*
No. I don’t have a PSP [yet!] but I’m gonna get one-mark my words. It WILL happen and the first game that I’m going to get will be Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker. I’m a huge fan of the Metal Gear Solid franchise and am stoked [yeah, I used that word] about Peace Walker.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’ve a very visual person and I love screenshots. SO, I found these three and thought I’d share them with you. I’ll find better ones just chew on these for tonight.

Konami is at it again with the announcement of Six Days in Fallujah for the PS3, PC and Xbox 360.
Six Days in Fallujah puts players right smack dab in the middle of the historic Marine firefight in Fallujah.
From the release:
Players are able to physically shape the battlefield just as US Marines did during the battle in Fallujah. Create new lines of attack by kicking in doors, blowing up walls, eliminating enemy cover and destroying the environment around them. To make the battle even more authentic, heavy emphasis has been put into the environments using real world satellite maps, weapons from …read more
Save the World One Zombie Death at a Time

I LOVE zombies. If I had thought about it at the time, when asked pirates or ninjas, I should have said zombies.
So, it warms my zombie loving heart to see that Konami is releasing Zombie Apocalypse for download on Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network this summer.
Zombie Apocalypse tasks up to four players with killing [re-killing?] as many zombies as they can so that the world is saved from the brain-eating bad guys.
If you fail at your task, you become one of the undead so make sure that you kick some zombie ass or you’ll end up having brains for …read more

If you love soccer [football] then you’re going to LOVE the new game that Konami is releasing at the end of the year.
It’s a mulit-platform game and by multi-platform I mean that it’s coming to just about every system known to man-PS3, Xbox 360, PC-DVD, PSP, PS2 and mobile phones. Wii got left out but surely you have one of the other systems hanging out somewhere?
Highlights include intelligent AI: “Midfielders and defenders now work together to cover open space and close down attacks, meaning that cover can be provided for lower-ranked defenders”.
Crowds that react in new and different ways to …read more
Silent Hill:Shattered Memories Set for Fall

The original Silent Hill was the first Silent Hill that I ever played.
Actually, I watched my boyfriend play the scary ass game while I randomly covered my eyes and generally acted like a scared little girl. In my defense, I was only 17 or so at the time so any “scared little girl” acting was pretty accurate.
There have been numerous other Silent Hill games released for numerous systems and Konami just announced a new game to be added to the “let’s scare the crap out of Amy” group.
Silent Hill:Shattered Memories is set to hit in the Fall of ‘09 and …read more
Can’t get the twin out of TwinBee
I remember playing this classic on the Nintendo Family Computer with my sister Pepper, and we spent countless hours trying to master it. TwinBee, as most of you may recall, is a 1985 side-scrolling shooter released by Konami for the arcade. Fortunately for those who don’t have the funds and the time to spend at the arcades, TwinBee was ported to the Famicom the following year.
Since I had been playing TwinBee with Pepper, I remember having the power to wipe out enemy units—mostly flying fruits and vegetables like eggplants and strawberries and dinnerware such as forks, plates and knives—with twin …read more
