Rahul Dravid, are you listening?

Thinking about this month’s featured reader comment, I thought of writing a post about the aftermath of this whole Mallaya – Dravid farce. Here it is:
Considering the amount of money Dr. Vijay Mallaya has, it would not have been impossible for him to buy some better players. What I am trying to say is not that he should have interfered in the selection of the players, but that he had the cash to buy some other players.

Kris Srikkanth and my dad are more than happy. Their deepest wish has come true.

BCCI, in a hasty attempt to resolve the captaincy crisis following Tendulkar’s refusal, have passed on the hat to Kumble. They had several options beside Kumble: Dhoni, Laxman, and Ganguly. Not going for Ganguly and Laxman is understandable, but they must have had a hard time choosing between Dhoni and Kumble.
