You know how much we enjoy posting brawls on this blog–Coco Crisp and the Rays, the LA Sparks and Detroit Shock (what is it with Detroit?), and now the insta-classic between the Detroit Tigers and the Cleveland Indians.

This one gets high marks for originality. Ex-Yankee (who apparently still has the ‘tude) Gary Sheffield was hit by a Fausto Carmona pitch . . . but wait till you see how the tension builds before the fists fly:

Thumbs up to Candace Parker of the LA Sparks for kickin’ arse with a slam dunk in a game against the Indiana Fever. Parker is only the second woman in the WNBA to pull off the not-in-our-wildest-dreams-at-5′4″ move. You go, girl!
