Brett Favre Gets Revenge, Beats Packers

It’s gotta feel nice to be Brett Favre right now. Earlier in the season, he beat the Green Bay Packers in Minnesota. On Sunday, he led his Vikings into Lambeau Field and beat the Packers again.
And Favre wasn’t just along for the ride. He was arguably the game’s best player. He finished his Week 8 contest 17-for-28 for 244 yards and four touchdowns. In two starts against the Vikings, Favre had seven touchdowns and no interceptions.

Would You Take $20 Million To Sit Out?

I’ve been asking myself this question all morning. If I were Brett Favre and if I had made such a stink about wanting to play again, if I had single-handedly caused such a media frenzy and whirlwind to circle around Lambeau Field, if I had professed my love for the game in such a manor that it seemed as though nothing could stop me from getting back on the field, would I then do an about-face just for some cash?
