American Airlines Targets Hispanic Customers

This week American Airlines is launching a national ad campaign that’s aimed at U.S. Hispanic consumers. The airline is looking for a bigger market share in the growing Latino market. American already has an español option on its booking site to help customers who prefer to book flights using Spanish.
American will advertise in Spanish print pubs as well as the major Spanish-speaking networks like Telemundo and Univision. The airline plans to promote the AAdvantage program, which is American’s frequent flier program. They claim to be the leading U.S. airline serving Latin America and recently added new services to Spain.
