The argument is this:
With every iteration of another piece of software or operating system, the developers continue to make the computer or application do more for us without forcing us to actually think about how to do what we need to do to accomplish our task.

<p>The argument is this:</p>
<p>With every iteration of another piece of software or operating system, the developers continue to make the computer or application do more for us without forcing us to actually think about how to do what we need to do to accomplish our task.</p>
<p>The argument uses the analogy of how basic math skills just haven&#8217;t been the same since calculators are more accepted and widespread in schools and used by students.</p>
<p>I think I&#8217;m kind of in line with this argument. Convenience and ease of use is important, but I do think with all the information and knowledge that&#8217;s available to us nowadays, we&#8217;re becoming a more ignorant society that&#8217;s lost it&#8217;s ability to &#8220;figure things out&#8221; on our own.</p>
