Since it was first announced not long ago, LEGO Rock Band has been called one of the most unnecessary games of all time. A marriage of LEGO and Rock Band? Really?
Yet all it is is an attempt to create a family-friendly Rock Band experience that the whole family can enjoy. I have to admit that it’s more than a little odd to see LEGO Minifigs with moving lips. That’s a first. But hey, see — and judge — for yourself, with this trailer that debuted at E3.

LEGO anything is cute. Let’s just get that straight right now. You could do Kill Bill and do it with LEGOs and it would be cute. Granted, it would be cute with a butt ton of blood but cute, nonetheless.
So after LEGO Batman, LEGO Indiana Jones, and Lego Star Wars [1, 2 and 3] NOW, we have LEGO Rock Band. Oh yeah, I said it. LEGO Rock Band.
Can you get much better than that?

Finally, it feels good to be back on a regular work schedule. Unfortunately, today is bit dry when it comes to juicy PlayStation news. But the good news is that early reports are suggesting that Killzone 2 may actually be as good as advertised. Of course, it’s tough to trust a first review, but it’s still a good sign.
