Remember that Lindsay Lohan movie from a couple of years ago called Mean Girls? That was before Lindsay Lohan started looking like a 40 year old and got into all of that trouble.
Anyway, the movie is all about the social structure of high school and believe it or not, the movie isn’t that bad. You know back-and-forth YouTube vlogging is huge when Hollywood celebs want in on the action. While the army of celebrities in I’m Fucking Ben Affleck first appeared on TV before hitting YT, these celebs dove straight into the middle of a YouTube convo. Step Up 2 The Streets director Jon M. Chu recruits Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Bynes, Brittany Snow and Adam Sandler into an ongoing YouTube dance battle. Talk about escalation.
Jon M. Chu plugs these celebrities into three formulae for YouTube success all at once: conversation, collaboration, and dance. Brilliant.
