Sony has announced their launching of a new Lithium-on secondary battery which uses a special type of “olivine” lithium iron phosphate for its cathode material.
These new materials used can provide high-power and longer battery life performance on a single package. The material “olivine” has a robust crystal structure and has high levels of stability providing continuous performance as Sony explained.
