Commemorating Carr’s Last Game

Today’s Capital One Bowl is Lloyd Carr’s last game as the head coach at Michigan. He’s one of the coaches I most respect not just in the Big Ten, but in all of college football. To commemorate his final game, here are a few stats about this great coach.

In high school, Carr was quarterback for their football team. His senior year, they were state champs.

As a quarterback at Northern Michigan University, Carr led the Wildcats to an undefeated season.

In his first game as head coach for the Wolverines, Carr coached Michigan to their (at the time) largest comeback win.

College Football Will Miss You, Coach Carr

Coach Llyod Carr is truly one of the classiest, greatest football coaches out there. To no one’s surprise, he announced his retirement yesterday, after being head coach of the Michigan Wolverines for the past 13 seasons. College football will definitely miss him.
