Robin Lopez Injury Update – Foot Surgery

After a disappointing rookie season, the Phoenix Suns had high hopes for Robin Lopez this season. However, Lopez is now expected to miss at least six weeks due to a broken left foot that will require surgery.
Lopez was injured during the Suns intrasquad scrimmage on Saturday. His foot injury has been diagnosed as a broken fifth metatarsal. He’ll need a screw to fix his foot during surgery.
Last year, as a backup to Shaquille O’Neal, Lopez averaged 3.1 points, 2.0 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 10.2 minutes per contest. The 21-year-old shot 51.8% from the field and 69.1% from the …read more
Zach Randolph Pushes Phoenix Sun with Fist

Although headlines around the world are claiming that Zach Randolph of the Los Angeles Clippers landed a punch on Louis Amundson of the Phoenix Suns, the world needs to take a closer look at the video. Although Randolph’s actions were uncalled for, that was hardly a punch. It was more like Randolph pushed Amundson’s face with his fist.
The first sign that it wasn’t very much of a punch was the fact that Amundson barely reacted. He got pushed back a little bit but he didn’t look too shaken up.
