Early today, ESPN (as well as a number of other news services) reported that Les Miles would be heading to Michigan, leaving his LSU tigers to coach at his alma mater. Who gave that first “official” word? *shrug* Dunno, but they were wrong.

Smart move. SMART. Since taklking about it early this week, I’ve thought a lot about the pros and cons for Miles to leave to coach the Wolverines. And you know what? Ok, wrong sport…but I imagine that’s the general feeling on the LSU campus today. The Tigers, ranked #1 going into their Saturday evening match up with Kentucky (ranked #17), Were looking to go undefeated to the championship, and by the looks of their schedule, they probably would have done it too.
