Through all the NBA Draft hype, I got a message from reader Ransom Marshall who asked me what I thought about IUPUI guard George Hill.
My response was: “I for one like Hill. Is he an NBA prospect? I agree with Ryan [Pravato] and say not this year. I’m not a fan of players from some of the more low-profile schools coming out that early after not really being tested. As day 4 of the Pre-Draft camp in Orlando came to a close, one must wonder if any one player actually made a solidified mark in the minds of the scouts.
After all, Darrell Arthur, Michael Beasley Joe Alexander, O.J. Mayo, Derrick Rose, Donte Greene, Anthony Randolph, JaVale McGee, D.J. Augustin, Kevin Love, Russell Westbrook, Eric Gordon, Brook Lopez, Jerryd Bayless, and DeAndre Jordan did not participate in the actual games. Let the underclassmen exodus to the NBA begin, Part Four

Two more notable underclassmen declared for the NBA draft on Wednesday: Texas sophomore guard D.J. Augustin and Kansas guard Mario Chalmers.
Many NBA draft experts peg Augustin as a lottery pick, so his early entry should not have surprised anybody. Augustin was a consensus first team All-American this season and averaged 19.2 points and 5.8 assists per game for the Longhorns.
Chalmers became an instant legend in Kansas folklore when he hit a game-tying 3-pointer with 2.1 seconds left to send the national championship game against Memphis into overtime. Chalmers averaged 12.8 points and 4.3 assists per game for the national champion …read more
