Brian Anderson Traded to the Red Sox

On Tuesday, the Chicago White Sox and the Boston Red Sox completed a trade of struggling players. The Red Sox traded Mark Kotsay to the White Sox and Boston received Brian Anderson.
Anderson is a center fielder who never really put it all together for the White Sox. He’s played parts of the last five seasons with the White Sox while showing minimal success at the plate. In fact, his .238 batting average this year was a career-best. He also has two homers, 13 RBIs and 25 runs on the season.
