We told you about the hot dog that Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez munched during the game this weekend, and now you can get one free just because he did! When it comes to quarterbacks eating on the sidelines, I could maybe see Jay Cutler munching on a snack, since he’s a Type 1 diabetic. After all, if Cutler’s blood sugar gets too low, he could be in serious danger. However, how about Mark Sanchez munching on hot dog before the end of the game?

Mark Sanchez Leads the Jets to Victory

Mark Sanchez was recently named the starting quarterback for the New York Jets. On Saturday, he showed the Jets that they made the right choice. In a preseason game against the New York Giants, Sanchez looked like a legit starter as he played very well.
For the game, Sanchez was 13-for-20 with one touchdown and no interceptions. His touchdown came on an impressive toss to Chansi Stuckey in the middle of the second quarter.
Sanchez pointed to his starting gig as a reason why he performed so well.

The 2009 NFL Draft takes place on April 25th and April 26th. Although there is a lot that can change between now and the draft, here’s a look at our 2009 NFL mock draft:
1) Detroit Lions – Matthew Stafford, Georgia (Quarterback)

Stafford Among Players Invited to NFL Draft

According to various reports, the NFL has invited a total of ten players to attend the 2009 NFL Draft. Among the players invited is quarterback Matthew Stafford, the player many experts believe will end up being the first overall pick by the Detroit Lions.
