Eight players have already been selected to participate in the U.S. women’s basketball camp. Fourteen more were invited to participate as well.
While Sue Bird, Diana Taurasi, Tamika Catchings, Candace Parker, Sylvia Fowles, Cappie Pondexter, Seimone Augustus and Kara Lawson are guaranteed a spot on the team, the fourteen other players are not. Geno Auriemma doesn’t think so. In fact, a slew of college basketball analysts don’t think so either. When you have a dominant team, which has crushed opponents by 30 or more numerous times this seasons, it’s easy to talk smack.

UCONN is undefeated. Maya Moore is probably the best player in the country by far. Tennessee isn’t the powerhouse it once was, so the NCAA Championship is ripe for the taking.
