I was in two minds as to whether to simply post a blank entry here, to try and symbolise being speechless about the latest debacle. Just when I thought it really couldn’t get much worse, it did, as England were beaten by an innings inside 3 days. About 6am this morning I got a text message from a good friend of mine:
Mate, am watching the cricket at the MCG. Can’t believe what a shocker. Hope you’ve had a good Xmas. Annabelle is still super hot.

I didn’t hear no fat lady*
It seems Australia’s cricket fans might not be the loyal cricket fans that everyone thinks they are. Apparently a bunch of tickets have been made available for the Boxing Day test in Melbourne.
A small amount of general public tickets for the first three days of Melbourne’s Boxing Day Test will go on sale from 9am on Wednesday. Cricket Australia said the extra 6000 seats were mainly AFL members’ seats that were being “put back into circulation”.
