Amazing App With System Inventory Lite

I found an amazing little application today as I was working on a client PC. I was looking for something like Belarc Advisor, that Milo just reviewed and I regularly use on PC’s. The problem was I wanted something that didn’t need an installation, but that could just run off of a thumb drive hopefully. I FOUND IT!

Memory Chip Prices are Going Up

The hurting economy continues and according to Simon Chen, chairman of A-Data Technology, DRAM prices are going up in the third quarter of this year. While some optimists feel that the prices are going back to cost levels, tough times ahead are going to see these prices go up.

The news came out during the Computex Taipei trade show where A-Data showcase their memory products, overclocked DDR3, and SSD kits. Simon says that full recovery is going to happen later on 2010.

This is not the way to save your passwords

Look, I know 15 character, multi-symboled, including 3 numbers and 4 capital letter passwords are no picnic or walk in the park and should probably be outlawed but this is no way to store them. There are plenty of password managers out there like KeePass, Billeo, and PassPack (now known as Passpack) — so please use them instead of this.
