The Access 2007 application has the least amount of toolbars and functions than any of the other products, even though the application is perhaps the most powerful of the entire Office suite for customization and development power.

The Access 2007 application has the least amount of toolbars and functions than any of the other products, even though the application is perhaps the most powerful of the entire Office suite for customization and development power.

Access 2007 can work with and integrate with the other Office applications like Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook. Yet with all that integration and possibility, the least amount of toolbars.

Sometimes it’s still hard to find what you’re looking for in Access though, just like the other applications. Click on the image below to see all of the Access toolbars in full-size, all together in one place.

After doing these different posts, I’m starting to feel like I should be quizzing myself on what I’m seeing and see if I can remember them all later.

Do you use OneNote 2007? My fellow b5media blogger Christina does and she’s recently written a little post about her experience with the application over the last couple of versions.

You organize these things in notebooks and folders, just like you would if you were in school and living in a non-geeky world. I upgraded to One Note 2007 as soon as it became available, and it was a massive improvement mostly in the organizational options. Whereas in the older version you could only easily have one notebook (with folders within), you can now have multiple notebooks (aligned vertically along the left hand side below), which really suits me since I wear so many hats these days.

I had installed OneNote awhile back when I had received a copy of it on a trial basis and it was included in my version of Microsoft Office 2007 of course. My only problem with using it was sharing the information out of it easily with other people in formats they could use. I’ve asked Christina how she accomplishes that feat, so we’ll see how she responds.
