From the first time that I saw a Rube Goldberg drawing or creation I was completely jealous amazed. The ingenuity and complexity is pretty much awe inspiring. Think of Mouse Trap from your childhood and you’ll get the general idea. [Or I guess you could just read the cartoon at the left...]
Anyway, a couple of sites have posted this video and I just couldn’t help myself. The “money shot” starts 30 seconds into the video.
Enjoy!
My Ode to Halloween

It’s that time of year, dear readers.
A time of goblins and ghouls and witches on brooms.
Ok.
Who am I kidding?
It’s time to go trick-or-treating [aren't you a bit old for that?] and dress up like a super slutty bar maid.
In honor of my favorite holiday, I figured that I would give you some links to some great games.
Some are blatant Halloween games; some are just plain scary.
Halloween games
Undead Smackdown – Ben and Jerry’s version of wack-a-mole…except you’re whacking zombies with a shovel.
Tomb Chess – Clear your “graveyard” of your opponent’s “ghouls”.

Found this piece of art on Flickr and just want to share with you. But has the gaming scene changed (since the black Xbox days)? Has Tiny Billy grown? What do you think?

Gameboar.com is not a Pig

Gameboar.com is not a gaming pig or Miss Piggy playin video games. But rather it’s a video gaming news, real time, aggregator or portal, that covers major gaming websites from GameSpot to Major Nelson.
Currently in beta (which most Web 2 sites are now), it uses Ajax to let you jot the links in a notepad that’s placed at the top right hand corner. What the site lacks now is a community and a more user friendly interface.
Mission Impossible 4: Tom Cruise’s Kids Playing Video Games at Home

It’s Mission Impossible for Tom Cruise’s kids or his family to play or even read anything related to Nintendo Wii, DS, DS Lite; Sony PlayStation 2, PS3, PSP; Microsoft Xbox 360; gaming consoles; video games and PC games in his household.
This ultimate video game ban applys to all his family members including his two older kids. And they are not allowed to watch TV with the exception of movies. Duh.
I guess I will choose Nintendo Wii rather than a Hollywood dad.
